Recreation & Leisure

Bampton has a limited supply of recreational and leisure facilities, but are striving to improve and maintain areas for the whole town.

The main recreation ground entrance is situated a few yards up on the right of the Morebath Road (B3190), and is home to Bampton Town Football Club.  Also now to the new wooden play equipment. Please take note this area is not suitable for dog walking.

Millennium Green is a site that was adopted a few years ago near Bampton Primary School. A picnic site with small woodland area as well as a fenced hard surface sports area.  Also a communal orchard which is slowly being brought back for visitors.

Station Road Play Area is situated at the main Bampton Car Park, secure and fenced it has an array of equipment suitable for younger children.

Riverside Hall is a large hall accessed via a small lane at the bridge in the centre of town, acting as a host to many annual events and the Bampton Players home residence.

Mid Devon has a new website promoting all that is great about the region.
